Film je zasnovan na istoimenoj priči iz knjige Warning to the Curious and Other Ghost Stories (1925) M.R. Džejmsa. To je njegova četvrta i finalna knjiga o pričama o duhovima. Ovaj film je bio deo BBC-evog serijala Ghost Story for Christmas. [filmskihitovi]
