Povzetek:

Radnja filma počinje 1921. godine u Petrogradu, neposredno posle revolucije. Država je razrušena, a svuda po ulicama su gladni ljudi. Inženjeri Los i Spiridonov primaju tajanstveni signal iz svemira.
