Romanopisec Stéphane Belcourt se prvič po mnogih letih vrne v svoj rodni kraj, potem ko je privolil v promocijsko vlogo ambasadorja znamke slavnega konjaka ob praznovanju njihove dvestoletnice. Tam sreča sina svoje prve ljubezni, Lucasa. Stéphanovi spomini privrejo na dan: neustavljiva privlačnost, telesi, ki postajata eno v žaru poželenja, strast, ki se nikoli ne more razkriti.
