Povzetek:
Madison McBride je traumirana, jer je izgubila poremećenog oca kada je imala 9 godina i zbog samoubistva voljenog brata Brandona pre godinu dana. Ona odluči da upiše Richard Miller University, na kom je Brandon izvršio samoubistvo, kako bi pobedila sopstvene demone. Uvrnuti domar je upozorava da je studentski dom uklet. Ona u domu upoznaje novo društvo čiji je svaki član istraumiran takođe nekim događajem iz prošlosti. Jedan od njih im otkriva da je 1935. godine njihov deo doma, kao i jedan napušteni deo, bio ludnica koju je vodio ozloglašeni doktor Magnus Burke koji je 1939. godine poludeo i počeo da ubija svoje pacijente - problematične tinejdžere. Ubrzo, studenti saznaju da duh doktora Burkea prebiva u "Studenjaku" i da je u potrazi za izmučenim dušama.
