Povzetek:

Tom Reece je vodja kavbojev, ki se vrne v Chicago po nekaj mesecih v preriji. Pri pokru izgubi ves denar, zato vzame posojilo pri hotelskem receptorju Franku Harrisu, v zameno pa mu da del svoje črede.
