Povzetek:


Južni Vietnam, 18. avgusta 1966. Na plantaži kavčuka Long Tan se major Smith in njegovih 108 mladih, večinoma neizkušenih avstralskih in novozelandskih vojakov, bori z močnimi sovražnimi silami komunističnega severa. Skoraj brez streliva je mrtvih vse več, zato je vsak primoran rešiti sebe in zmagati častno, spoštljivo in pogumno.
