U ovom TV filmu sa početka osamdesetih pratimo život u malom ruralnom gradiću u kojemu par lokalaca na piku imaju Bubbu,mentalno zaostalog tridesetogodišnjaka koji se redovito, svakog dana igra sa malom curicom iz susjedstva. Jednog dana na nju nasrće pas i Bubba je teško povrijeđenu i krvavu donese majci na prag. Priče počinju kolati iste sekunde te se skupi ekipa lokalaca i kreće u osvetu. Nalaze ga nasred polja skrivenog u strašilu pa ga ni krivog ni dužnog ubiju.Ubrzo se pokreću kotačići osvete.Svi sudionici lova na Bubbu postaju mete te se u roku od par dana svakome počinju dešavati nesreće

Film je snimljen u samo 17 dana.
