Day of the Dead (2008)

V mestecu Leadville v Koloradu izbruhne epidemija smrtonosnega virusa. Ameriška vojska poskuša epidemijo zajeziti s karanteno, toda razmere kmalu uidejo nadzoru. Okuženi prebivalci se namreč spremenijo v mesojede žive mrtvece, ki začnejo napadati še neokužene prebivalce. Vojaki in preostali prebivalci morajo združiti moči in se spopasti s pretkanim sovražnikom. Med njimi je tudi domačinka, desetarka Sarah Bowman, ki skupaj s svojim bratom Trevorjem in ostalimi odkrije podzemni vojaški štab, ki jim služi kot skrivališče.
