Dinner in America (2020)

Še eno dolgočasno predmestje v osrčju Amerike. Uporniški punk roker Simon (Kyle Gallner), ki sem in tja rad podtakne kakšen požar, se na begu pred policijo zateče v spalnico sramežljive najstnice Patty (Emily Skeggs). Patty ne ve, da je Simon maskirani pevec njenega najljubšega garažnega benda. In Simon ne ve, da je predmet vseh njenih burnih fantazij.

Vrlo dobar zbilja. Vraća osmeh. Well, meni makar.

Podseća na ono dobro u filmovima osamdesetih. Da ne bacam sada imena tu, nebitno je, no ono što može biti važno je da je film blesav, zabavan, romantičan na svoj, da kažemo punk način. Uopšte romansa između lajavog buntovnika i osobice sa posebnim potrebama bez trunke patetike je umetnička forma sama za sebe. Sundance ipak ima nešto starog sjaja, ne znam zašto uporno zaboravljam već godinama da krstarim tim vodama. Ranije sam se radovao filmovima Sundance festivala, jedva čekao da se (obično sa nemalo zakašnjenja) ti filmovi pojave u svom svojem sjaju pod gusarskom zastavom, kada već nisam mogao da žuljam kakve čizme po Juti. Kako bilo, probajte Dinner in America, meni se dopao.
