Heart Beat (1980)

Nick Nolte in Sissy Spacek igrata glavni vlogi v tej odkritosrčni drami, ki temelji na življenju pisatelja beatniške generacija Jacka Kerouaca in njegovih prijateljev Neala in Carolyn Cassady. Carolyn Cassady (oskarjevka Sissy Spacek), Neal Cassady (Nick Nolte) in Jack Kerouac (John Heard) so prijatelji, katerih popotovanje po Severni Ameriki v maničnem, obsedenem izbruhu seksualne osvoboditve, alkohola, ljubezni in sovraštva je postalo temelj za kultni roman Na cesti. Film je posnet po knjigi spominov Carolyn Cassady.
