Povzetek:

Bradamante, a woman wearing an invincible suit of armor, is travelling the countryside at the time of the Crusades. After ending up in the middle of a web of romantic and cultural tangles, she finds herself in love with a Moor prince, while one of the Christian knights has fallen in love with a Moor princess. Kostimirana, avanturistička drama smeštena u rani srednji vek suprotstavlja hrišćanske vitezove i nevernike u imaginarnom svetom ratu,
a kao počast italijanskoj ljubavi prema ljubavi, komandanti suprotnih strana se zaljubljuju u "neprijateljske" žene,
odlučuju da prekinu ratovanje, spakuju oružje i odu da rade bolje stvari.
Ruggero predvodi nevernike u prelepom oklopu, a Rolando je na čelu hrišćanskih vitezova.
Jedan od nepobedivih vitezova je zapravo žena, Bradamante, koja kad vidi uparađenog Ruggera,
pristaje da mu vrati zarobljenu sestru Isabellu, kako bi mu se umilila.
Ovo četvero protagonista prolazi kroz niz avantura i neprilika smeštenih u vizantijske dvorce, planinske kanjone i mračne šume.
