Povzetek:
Poletje 1990 je na podeželju Turingije v nekdanji Vzhodni Nemčiji še posebej vroče. Maria bo kmalu dopolnila 19 let, živi s svojim fantom Johannesom na kmetiji njegovih staršev in bi se raje posvečala knjigam, kot da bi se potrudila diplomirati. Z združitvijo Nemčije se pojavi občutek, da se začenja novo obdobje, ko Maria spozna sosednjega kmeta Hennerja. En sam dotik je dovolj, da zaneti iskro strasti med Mario in svojeglavim, karizmatičnim moškim, dvakrat starejšim od nje. V napetem ozračju, ki brni od možnosti, se rodi ljubezen: skrivna strast, polna hrepenenja in želje, ki požre vse na svoji poti.
