Američka glumica Jeanne Eagels (1890.-1929.) nastupala je na Broadwayu i u nekoliko filmova. Jedina je glumica do sada koja je postumno nominirana za Oscara (The Letter, 1929.), naime, J. Eagles iznenada je umrla u 39. godini.
