Povzetek:

Gledamo kako bolest koju su isprva nazivali Gay-Related-Immune-Disorder uništava živote naših protagonista. Skakanjem između Manhattana i Fire Islanda, sličice nas vode od meni-se-to-ne-može-dogoditi načina razmišljanja u ranim danima pojave bolesti, do invazivnog učinka koji bolest ima danas, na živote svih nas. Naslov filma dolazi od odbijanja New York Timesa da prizna homoseksualne veze u rubrici osmrtnica tijekom tog razdoblja. Umjesto partneri, oni koji su preživjeli bili su nazivani „dugogodišnjim prijateljima“ pokojnika.
