Pet let po krutem umoru šestletne hčerke, ko je Claudia ravno začela pozabljati na to srhljivo tragedijo, zazvoni telefon: "Mami, jaz sem ... Pridi me rešit." Racionalna Claudia ne verjame temu, kar sliši, in je prepričana, da gre za neslano šalo kakega izprijenca, toda materinski nagon ji pravi, da mora verjeti besedam iz telefonske slušalke, in hkrati upa, da je resnično slišala svojo hčerko.
