Povzetek:

A teacher of philosophy encounters a complicated pupil; a seventeen year old girl who possesses quite a cynical view of the world. He attempts to help her focus on her studies, but soon becomes fascinated by her. They fall passionately in love. SADRŽAJ:

50-godišnji profesor filozofije se posvetio svojoj 17-godišnjoj učenici Mathildi koja je poprilično cinična s lucidnim pogledom na život. Pomaže joj s učenjem i prilagođavanjem ali ubrzo postane fasciniran s njom i ulete u strastvenu vezu. Znajući da ta veza ne može potrajati, on odlučuje raskinuti i ostati sa svojom ženom. No Mathilda to ne prihvaća.
