Povzetek:

Druga svetovna vojna. Vojak Al Hogan je zaljubljen v medicinsko sestro Betty Bixby. Da bi se ji približal, sklene pripraviti velik ples, pri pripravah pa mu na pomoč priskočijo prijatelji vojaki, medicinske sestre iz bolnišnice, vojni ujetniki in celo francoski civilisti.
