Prayers for Bobby (2009)

Mary Grifith je predana kristjanka, ki svoje otroke vzgaja v konservativnem duhu svoje cerkve. Nekega dne njen sin Bobby zaupa svojemu starejšemu bratu, da je homoseksualec. To dejstvo korenito spremeni družino, ko za to izve tudi Mary, saj je edina, ki tega ne more sprejeti. Iz obupa nad materinim nesprejetjem Bobby stori samomor. Soočena s tragedijo Mary pod vprašaj postavi svojo vero in se čez čas poveže s homoseksualno skupnostjo ter se prične boriti za njihove pravice.
