Povzetek:

Idući prema gradu Šaše, legendarni monah Triptaka, zajedno s tri učenika, prolazi kroz opasne predele. Tokom putovanja grupu putnika napadaju demoni. Spašavajući život jednom od dečaka, Triptaku uhapsi kralj svih gmazova. Zatvoren i nadgledan, monah gubi svaku nadu u beg, sve do momenta kada stupa u kontakt s Meijan, ženom-demonom. Dobivajući novog saveznika, monahu se vraća vera u slobodu i šanse u spas izgubljenih učenika.
