Povzetek:

Kao rezultat arktičkog nuklearnog testa, dinosaurus mesožder se odleđuje iz večnog leda i počinje da se kreće niz istočnu obalu Severne Amerike. Profesoru Tomu Nezbitu, jedinom svedoku postojanja zveri, niko ne veruje, čak ni kada ga kod paleontologa dr Terguda Elsona identifikuje kao "redosaurusa". Međutim, sve sumnje nestaju kada dr Elson nestaje tokom spuštanja na dno okeana u ronilačkom zvonu u potrazi za stvorenjem. Ubrzo nakon toga, redosaurus izlazi iz mora i pustoši ostrvo Menhetn dok profesor Nezbit ne osmisli plan za zaustavljanje naizgled neuništive zveri.
