Povzetek:

Verjamete v duhove? Matthew ni, dokler njegov mlajši brat Tom ni izginil z mestnega igrišča. Od tega dne Matthew čuti krivdo za nesrečen dogodek. Ko čez leta vidi prikaz in sliši glas pogrešanega brata, misli, da se mu meša.
Toda ko začne izginjati vse več otrok, Matthewju postane vseeno, kaj je res in kaj ne. Zaveda se, da lahko, če bo prisluhnil glasu svojega brata, odkrije resnico o izginotjih. Bi za družinsko tragedijo lahko bil kriv njun zapiti oče? Ali tolpa podivjanih najstnikov, ki napadejo vsakega otroka, ki jim stopi na pot?
Medtem ko sestavlja koščke skrivnosti, Matthew ve, da ne more nikomur zaupati. Bo sploh kdaj našel svojega brata in druge pogrešane otroke – ali pa je že prepozno?
