29-letni Baptiste je v romantičnem odnosu s Samio, ko prvič sreča Cookie Kunty, mlado kraljico preobleke s pariške scene, ki ga takoj očara. Sprva ga navdušuje zamisel o fotografskem projektu, ki naj bi se vrtel okoli Cookie, in potopi se v ta svet, nazadnje pa se prepusti ljubezenskemu razmerju s Quentinom, mladeničem v oblačilih in ličilih odrske kraljice preobleke.
