Povzetek:

Narednik Foggers in dva konfederacijska vojaka se dokopljejo do zlata, ki pripada vojski. Nakradeno zlato zakopljejo pri osamljenem vodni luknji v puščavi. Čez nekaj časa se Lewton Cole, poklicni hazarder, bori v dvoboj z enim od roparjev, ga ubije in pri njem najde zemljevid zaklada. Cole se ustavi v mestecu Integrity, kjer zaklene šerifa v ječo, ukrade njegovega konja in tudi najde čas, da zapeljati lepo šerifovo hči Billee. Ogorčen šerif se poda v lov za njim, ga aretira in vzame zlato. Toda Foggers in njegov pomagač najdeta šerifa, mu vzameta zlato in osvobodita Colea.
