Obiteljski western o skupini pionira koji na putu u Obećanu zemlju moraju proći teritorijem naseljenim neprijateljskim indijanskim plemenima.
James Stephen vodi karavanu doseljenika, među kojima su i njegovi žena i dijete, kroz nepregledne američke ravnice.
