Povzetek:


Kit Madden is traveling to Hollywood, where her best-selling novel is to be filmed. Aboard the train, she encounters Marines Rusty and Dink, who don't know she is the author of the famous book, and who don't think much of the ideas it proposes. She and Rusty are greatly attracted, but she doesn't know how to deal with his disdain for the book's author.

    Uspešna spisateljica "Kit" Madde, putuje u Los Angeles da radi na filmskoj adaptaciji njene knjige.
    Na putu sreće dva marinca, kapetana "Rusty" Thomasa i prvog poručnika "Dink" Watsona.
    Njoj se učini da je Rusty najbolji izbor za glavni lik u njenom filmu, ali nesigurna zbog toga što ne zna 
    kako će on reagovati na što je ona poznati pisac, krije to od njega.
    Za vreme putovanja vozovima, trio dolazi u razne komične i dramske situacije.
    Kad Rusty konačno sazna istinu, on misli da ga je ona iskoristila kako bi ga dobila za film. 
    Međutim, sve se do kraja reši.
