Povzetek:


Now Gotham's Undercover Superhero Batman has disappeared leaving behind a daughter from his long-time love Catwoman. Her name is Helena the mysterious superhero known as "The Huntress". She has teamed up with the paralyzed hero "Batgirl" together they meet up with their next teammate Dinah Lance. Dinah is a telepath and psychic who had terrifying dreams about Batgirl's brutal accident. They must learn how to work together and become not only a team of superheroes but also a family.

    Jedne noći u Gotham City-u, u borbi između Batmana i Jokera,
    teško stradava Batgirl. Iste noći Joker ubija Catwoman predočima
    Helene Kyle, buduće Huntress.
    Nakon toga Batman,Bruce Wayne netragom nestaje iz Gothama.
    Batgirl (sada u invalidskim kolicima, i novim aliasom "Oracle") preuzima
    skrbništvo nad mladom Helenom i postaje joj ne samo nova majka već
    i mentorica i nju odgaja kako može da bi od nje napravila junakinju
    te posljednju obranu Gothama od vala kriminala koji se u Gothamu
    nezaustavljivo penje, a kojeg predvodi Harleen Quinnzel, aka. Harley Quinn.
    Oracle i Huntress uskoro u svoj duo primaju mladu Dinah Redmond, te
    postaju trio zvan 'Birds of Prey'.
