Banda kriminalaca beži nakon neuspešne pljačke nakita. Prisiljeni su da se sakriju na imanju uz plažu u zabačenom raju Playa Perdida u Meksiku, gde dve žene žive povučeno. Mračne, ali i duhovite komplikacije nastaju kada im se pridruže dvoje gostiju na večeri – TV producent Max i njegova poletna devojka Maru (Amelia Eve) – i bivša kućna pomoćnica, jer su svi oni ubrzo uzeti kao taoci. Ubistvene tajne, hladnokrvne izdaje i šokantne želje izbijaju na površinu dok svi čekaju svoju sudbinu.
