Radnja se dešava u jednoj srednjoj školi u Kaliforniji i prati nastavnika istorije Gabrijela Iglesijasa. Na kraju školske godine, njegovi učenici primaju pismo kojim su izbačeni iz škole. Gabrijel odlučuje da predaje letnju školu svojim učenicima, kako bih ih spasio od izbacivanja.
