Waiting for God (1990)

Kada se Tom Ballard preseli u Bayview, dom za umirovljenike, upoznaje Dianu Trent, opaku stariju ženu koja se žali na sve što može i samo želi umrijeti. Na negodovanje voditelja doma Harveyja Bainesa, Tom i Diana se sprijatelje i nakon nekog vremena započnu romantičnu vezu. Tomov sin Geoffrey i snaha Marion (koju Tom ne voli) neprestano im dolaze u posjetu. Diana također ima problem s Jane, njezinom najvećom noćnom morom, zaposlenicom doma koja je uvijek puna optimizma i dobre volje, što nikako ne odgovara Dianinoj gruboj naravi.
Tom i Diana nekako zajednički uspijevaju riješiti sve probleme, dok čekaju Boga da ih se sjeti…
