Povzetek:

Mladi Matthew "Matt" Hazard je poročnik ameriške vojne konjenice, ki leta 1883 konča šolanje na West Pointu. Po končanem šolanju za poročnika se Matt Hazard odpravi na službovanje v utrdbo Delivery v Arizoni. Utrdba leži na meji z Mehiko, vojakom pa tam poveljuje poročnik Teddy Mainwarring, mož privlačne Kitty, s katero se Matt zaplete v ljubezensko razmerje.
Prihod Mattove zaročenke pa vse obrne na glavo. Vojakom manjka moči, ne pomagajo jim niti spori s tamkajšnjimi Indijanci plemena Chiricahua. Na poveljstvo kmalu pride general Alexander Upton Quaint, ki zahteva korenite spremembe.

Mladi Matthew "Matt" Hazard poručnik je američke konjice, koji 1883. godine, netom po završetku školovanja na West Pointu,
stiže na službu u utvrdu Delivery u Arizoni. Utvrda je smještena na granici s Meksikom, a vojnicima zapovijeda poručnik Teddy Mainwarring,
suprug privlačne Kitty s kojom se Matt ubrzo upusti u ljubavnu vezu.
