Povzetek:

Rimejk istoimenog švedskog filma iz 1938. u kom je Ingrid Bergman bila u glavnoj ulozi. Na švedskom kraljevskom sudu u Stockholmu počelo je suđenje Anni Holm optuženoj za ubistvo svog bivšeg ljubavnika. Na suđenje je pozvano nekoliko važnih svedoka među kojima i supružnici dr. Gustaf Segert i Vera Segert. Optužena se u nedavnoj prošlosti bavila i ucenjivanjem, pa je tako došla u kontakt s Verom Segert koju je ucenjivala za pisma ljubavniku. U trenutku isplate u nakitu, u kuću je stigao njen suprug dr. Segert i sprečio Annu da pobegne kroz prozor. On se sažali nad Annom, čiju desnu stranu lica prekriva veliki ožiljak i odluči joj pomoći plastičnom operacijom. Nakon uspelog zahvata, život joj se iz temelja menja i odluči da zauvek prestane sa nezakonitim poslom. Ali u njen se život iznenada vrati bivši partner...
