Ana Kristi (engl. Anna Christie) je filmska adaptacija istoimene predstave Judžina O'Nila u režiji Klarensa Brauna. Ovo je bio prvi zvučni film Grete Garbo, koja je bila u naslovnoj ulozi. Plašeći se za uspeh drame zbog Gretinog švedskog naglaska, Metro-Goldvin-Mejer je reklamirao pod sloganom Garbo govori!. Međutim, Ana Kristi je postao film sa najvećom zaradom 1930. i bio je toliko popularan da je 1931. snimljena nemačka verzija. Bio je nominovan za tri Oskara: za najbolju glumicu, najboljeg režisera i najbolju kameru.
Siromašni mornar Kris sedi u jednoj lučkoj kafani, sa lokalnom prostitutkom kada mu jave da njegova kćerka Ana dolazi da živi sa njim. On brže juri ženu od sebe i odlazi da otrezni. Međutim, baš kada on nije tu, a prostituka još uvek nije otišla, Ana Kristi ulazi u kafanu. Njih dve se upoznaju i Ana saznaje sve o svom ocu. Na njegovo veliko iznenađenje, pristaje da živi sa njim u njegovoj siromašnoj barci. Tu upoznaje mladog mornara Meta, i oni ubrzo planiraju venčanje. Kada im Ana otkrije čime se bavila pre nego što je došla kod oca, njihovo mišljenje njoj se menja.
