Povzetek:

V mestecu v Južni Karolini se odpre muzej Ku Klux Klana, idealist, duhovnik Kennedy (oskarjevec Forest Whitaker), pa se je odločen potruditi preprečiti rasno nestrpnost.
Toda člani Kennedyjeve župnije so šokirani, da načrtuje tudi pomoč Miku Burdenu
(Garrett Hedlund), Klanovcu, ki ga odnosi z mamo samohranilko (Andrea Riseborough)
