Povzetek:

Vili je siromašna Nemica koja traži i dobija angažman u cirkusu iz Amerike koji je na turneji po Evropi. Uskoro vlasnici putujućeg cirkusa otkrivaju i njene veštine. Vili počinje da nastupa sa budućim mužem, Frenkom, u performansu koji je opasan po život. U Vili se iz sumnjivih pobuda zaljubljuje i Džo Henri, propalica atraktivnog izgleda. Trudeći se da učini najbolje, Vili donosi nesreću svakom muškarcu s kojim stupi u emotivnu vezu. Postaje slavna, novine su pune njenih fotografija ali njen emotivni život je pretvoren u pakao.
