Francuska je okupirana, Švabe su svuda, vlada nestašica koječega, dok i svo meso završava na nemačkoj trpezi, narod je željan svega, te naš junak, crnoberzijanac/švercer, Burvil, ima pune ruke posla. Koliko pune? Sto kila svinjetine, smeštene u četiri kofera koja mora prebaciti s jednog kraja Pariza na drugi, noću, ulicama prepunim žandara i nemačkih patrola.
