Povzetek:

Dejvid je novi u srednjoj školi. Jedini poznanik mu je Mark, koji je član lokalne družine koju predvodi Brus. Mark i Dejvid su stari prijatelji iz vremena kada je Dejvid spašavao Marka da ne dobije batine od školskih nasilnika. Dejvid drži distancu, i ne želi da se pridruži "klubu". On pokušava da uveri druge učenike da ne dozvole da budu maltretirani, i priskače im u pomoć. Kada direktno postane žrtva Brusove bande, Dejvid izaziva probleme među članovima klike.
