Povzetek:
Nensi Dru, kći uglednog advokata ambiciozno pokušava da se probije u svijet novinarstva. Zanemaruje dosadnu temu koja joj je konkursom zadana i odlučuje da izvještava iz sudnice. Baveći se istraživačkim novinarstvom upliće se u opasnu mrežu zločina u koju uvlači prijatelja iz djetinjstva a na kraju i vlastitog oca.
