Red Road (2006)

Whilst working as a CCTV operator in Glasgow's working-class Red Road estate, Jackie sees a face from the past, a face that she thought would no longer haunt her dreams. Keeping her distance, and with the use of her CCTV cameras, she follows the face and the man and she finally decides to confront him. It is here that past lives are once again entwined and reconciliations are aired.

Film govori o Džeki, CCTV operaterki, zaduženoj za bezbednost ljudi u gradu. Svakoga
dana ona, putem monitora, nadgleda stanje na ulicama Glazgova. Jednom prilikom će
na monitoru ugledati čoveka za kojeg je mislila da ga nikada više neće videti, za
kojeg se nadala da ga nikada više neće sresti. I neće moći da odoli porivu da se suoči
sa njim.
Rediteljka Andrea Arnold, koja je tri godine kasnije pobrala sijaset nagrada za film “Akvarijum” (Fish Tank), dobila je na Kanskom festivalu nagradu žirija za debitantski
film. Predsednik devetočlanog žirija, kineska rediteljska legenda Vong Kar Vaj, obrazložio
je zašto je odabran baš ovaj film: “Odlučili smo da nagradimo ‘Crveni put’, jer on
predstavlja veliko dostignuće za debitantski film - pre svega zbog svoje složenosti i snage.
