Romeo Is Bleeding (1993)

Newyorški policist Jack Grimaldi (Gary Oldman) ima lep dom, čudovito ženo Natalie (Annabella Sciorra) in prisrčno, a neumno ljubico Sheri (Juliette Lewis). Nekaj dodatnega cvenka zasluži še z izdajanjem prič mafijskih zločinov mafijskemu šefu donu Falconeu (Roy Scheider). Nato pa mu dodelijo varovanje neverjetno seksi ruske plačane morilke Mone Demarkov (Lena Olin), ki ga nemudoma zapelje in mu pobegne. Falcone Jacku ukaže, naj jo izsledi in ubije, ter mu zagrozi s smrtjo, če mu to ne bo uspelo. Mona ponudi Jacku plačilo, če ji pomaga ubiti Falconea in uprizoriti lastno smrt. Po številnih zapletih in zasukih je Jackovo življenje v ruševinah.
