Povzetek:


Biografska komična drama po resničnih dogodkih. O preprostem človeku, ki je s plemenitim namenom prekršil zakon in postal legenda. Leta 1961 je šestdesetletni taksist Kempton Bunton iz Narodne galerije v Londonu ukradel znameniti Goyev portret vojvode Wellingtona. V zameno za vrnitev slike je zahteval nenavadno odkupnino - britanska vlada naj nameni več pozornosti (in denarja) oskrbi ostarelih. To drzno dejanje je dodobra razburkalo britansko politiko in bilo deležno velikega medijskega odziva, Buntonu pa je ob njegovem poskusu reševanja sveta uspelo rešiti tudi svoj propadajoči zakon.

     Izuzetan film! Odavno nisam gledao film iz koga svakog trenutka prosto   ljubav i ljudska toplina.
    Lepa humana prica, sa sjajnom scenarijem, zivom muzikom i maestralnom glumom bracnih supruznika.
    Zbog nekih sitnih holivudksih melodramatcnih mikrodetalja zbog koji se moglo dajem
    9.5/10 Film ima kvalitet za jednog pravog oskara
