Povzetek:

Potem ko je Tilo osirotela, se je znašla v indijski šoli za dekleta, ki bodo postala kraljice začimb. Ko odraste, jo pošljejo v San Francisco, da bi v majhni trgovinici za stranke pripravljala posebne mešanice začimb s čudežnimi močmi. Toda če noče izgubiti svojih čarobnih moči, mora upoštevati tri zlata pravila: vedno mora ustreči željam strank in ne svojim željam, nikoli ne sme zapustiti trgovinice in nikoli se ne sme nikogar dotakniti. Nekega dne v trgovino stopi Doug, do katerega prvič v življenju nekaj začuti.
