Povzetek:
The first scenes show how the rubber tree is tapped in the early morning, and how the sap is gathered at noon. Then come scenes showing how the sap is congealed in the smoke from nuts of palm trees, until it becomes what the natives term a "biscuit." Next we are shown views of the world's largest rubber market, Manaos, Brazil, twenty-three hundred miles from the mouth of the Amazon. Here the biscuit is searched thoroughly for impurities. The last scene shows the receiving and packing of the "biscuits" at the wharf.
