Povzetek:

Bejts je megalomanski milioner koji poseduje većinu južne Louizijane. Džek Braun je bivši novinar čija je karijera propala, pa sada radi kao čistač u Bejtsovoj robnoj kući. Bejtsov mlađi sin Erik posećuje oca jedan vikend u godini. Obično ga odvedu u robnu kuću nakon radnog vremena gde može izabrati što god želi.
