Zaista izvanredan film vrhunskog majstora Altmana. Turbulentan, težak, deliričan ... Prvi film o Van Gogu koji dosta pažnje usmerava na Tea i na odnos braće koji je bio veoma specifičan, ali pun ljubavi. Možda najverniji prikaz Vinsentovog života, bez mnogo ulepšavanja i romansiranja, pa zbog toga deluje na momente veoma sirovo. Tim Rot briljantan.
