Povzetek:
JULES je pred kratkim ločena samohranilka pri štiridesetih, ki se v svojem novem življenjskem poglavju pogosto srečuje s komičnimi izzivi, pastmi in veseljem. Na novi poti jo spremljajo mlajša živahna varovanka LAURIE, ki jo spodbuja k družabnemu življenju in zabavi; porogljiva in neizprosna soseda in zaupnica ELLIE; povprečen, vendar ljubeč mož ANDY; pretirano spogledljiv sosed GRAYSON; neuspešen bivši mož, ki ves čas preskuša meje njene potrpežljivosti BOBBY; ter porogljivi sin TRAVIS.
