Gwen je devojčica koju je usvojilo nomadsko pleme u pustinji post-apokaliptičkog sveta.
U pustinji u kojoj samo mali broj životinja može da preživi, kao npr. nojevi i škorpioni,
misteriozno biće redovno baca ogromne replike svakodnevnih predmeta iz našeg sveta,
kao što su torbe, telefoni, satovi i... fotelje.
Kada to biće otme dečaka, Gweninog prijatelja, Gwen i starica Roseline kreću na putovanje
da ga pronađu. Na kraju sreću druge ljude koji žive u izolovanom gradu i čuvaju ostatke
stare civilizacije...
