    Opis: TV drama u kojoj je vladavina engleskog kralja Henryja VIII prikazana iz perspektive jedne od njegovih šest supruga. Kao jedna od prvih BBC-jevih serija snimljenih u boji, Šest žena Henryja VIII je dobila brojne pohvale, a australski glumac Keith Michell je zahvaljujući njoj postao zvijezda. Dvije godine kasnije Mitchell je ponovio istu ulogu u igranom filmu pod nazivom Henry VIII and His Six Wives.

    Sama je serija 1971. dobila svojevrsni nastavak u mini-seriji     Elizabeth R snimljenoj godinu dana kasnije, koja se bavi životom Henryjeve nasljednice Elizabete i u kojoj su mnogi glumci ponovili uloge. Godine 1972. BBC je snimio i prequel, odnosno mini-seriju Sjena tornja koja opisuje vladavinu Henryjevog oca Henryja VII.
